Claude Duet Web
Log in
claude.ai in any modern browser, with your invited account.
No download needed
There is no Mac or Windows Duet app; the browser is the desktop version.
Synced thread
Same conversation as your phone, so you can switch freely.
On a phone, Claude Duet is a standalone app. On a computer, it lives in the browser. Anthropic says you can use Duet at claude.ai on a computer, which makes Claude Duet web the version for reviewing longer work: the reports, decks and dashboards that are hard to read on a small screen.
This short guide covers how to log in to Claude Duet web, why there is no desktop download, and how the web and phone versions work together.

Claude Duet login on the web
claude.ai
Go to claude.ai and sign in with the same Claude account that received your Duet invite. Anthropic has not published a separate Duet web address; Duet is reached through claude.ai. If you use several Claude accounts, check the one you are signed in to; the invite is tied to one account.
Invite required
Without an invite you will not see Duet, even on a Pro or Max plan. Start with the waitlist guide, and see the troubleshooting page if you have an invite but Duet does not appear.
Is there a Claude Duet desktop download?
Web only on computers
No. Anthropic lists three ways to use Duet: the iOS app, the Android app, and claude.ai on a computer. There is no Mac or Windows Duet app, and you do not need one. Because Duet does its work on its own cloud computer, a desktop app would not add anything; Claude Duet web simply shows you the thread and the results.
Be careful with sites offering a "Claude Duet download" for Windows or Mac. Anything not from Anthropic's official channels is, at best, unofficial and, at worst, malware.
| Device | How to use Duet |

| Android phone | Claude Duet Android app |
| Mac, Windows, Linux, Chromebook | claude.ai in a browser |
A weekly review routine in the browser
The bigger screen is the right place to step back and check how the agent is doing. Once a week, set aside fifteen minutes at a desk.
- Ask what it is following. Request a list of every thread, project and recurring task it is watching. Stop anything that is finished.
- Open last week's work. Read the reports and drafts it produced in full, not just the summaries you saw on your phone.
- Spot-check sources. Pick two or three items from recent briefs and compare them with the original emails or records.
- Update standing instructions. Tell it about new priorities, people who matter this month, and anything it should stop raising.
This review keeps the brief sharp and also trims background usage, which counts against your plan. It is the main reason to keep a browser tab handy even if you mostly live on your phone.
Claude Duet web and phone stay in sync
One thread
Duet keeps your history in a single continuous thread, so the web and phone are two views of the same conversation. A sensible routine is to approve quick things from your phone and use Claude Duet web for anything long: reading a weekly report, editing a deck, or checking the sources behind a morning brief item. Closing the browser tab does not stop anything; the agent keeps working in the cloud.
