Claude Duet availability is narrow at launch. The research preview that opened on October 21, 2026 covers one country, two plans and a waitlist. This page tracks where Claude Duet works today by country, plan and device, and logs every change Anthropic announces.

Claude Duet availability depends on all three rows lining up: a US account, an eligible plan and an invite from the waitlist.
Claude Duet outside the US
Anthropic's launch post says the preview is for Pro and Max plans "in the US". It has not given a timeline for other countries.
UK
Not available. There is no announced date. For comparison, OpenAI's ChatGPT Dots also excluded the UK at launch.
EU
Not available. Agents that read email and act in third-party apps face extra data-protection scrutiny in Europe, so we would not expect the EU to be first in line.
Rest of world
Not available. Using a VPN does not change the region tied to your Claude account and billing, and trying to work around regional limits may breach Claude's terms. While you wait, Claude Cowork in the regular Claude app offers scheduled tasks and agent work in most regions.
Claude Duet on Team and Enterprise plans
Status
Anthropic's FAQ is explicit that Team and Enterprise are not included yet. That applies even if your company is in the US.
What admins can do now
If staff ask about Duet, the practical answer is to decide policy before it arrives: which connectors would be allowed, whether personal subscriptions may touch company email, and how approvals should work for actions on behalf of the business. Check your own eligibility in one minute
Most confusion about Claude Duet availability comes from accounts that look eligible but are not. Run through these four checks before you join the waitlist or contact support.
- Which account pays? Open Claude's settings and confirm the plan shown is Pro or Max on the account you will sign in with. A second free account on the same email domain does not count.
- Is the subscription personal? Seats on a company workspace are Team or Enterprise, even if you use them alone.
- Is the account registered in the US? Billing country is what matters, not where you happen to be today.
- Has an invite arrived? Eligibility only gets you onto the list. The app stays locked until an invitation reaches that account.
If all four are true and you still cannot get in after an invite, the troubleshooting guide covers sign-in problems. If any check fails, there is nothing to fix on your side; it is a matter of waiting for Anthropic to widen the preview.
